The Man Who Flew to Earth

Gary Connery is a British stuntman with one goal: jump from a helicopter at 2,400 feet, fly a wingsuit a mile across the English countryside, and land in a field of stacked cardboard boxes. No parachute. No backup.

The film follows Gary and fellow wingsuit pilot Mark Sutton through the years of preparation, the rehearsals, the politics of getting the stunt approved, and the day itself.

If it works, it is history. If it doesn’t, it is the end of him.
